Sundays are about starting the day slow and well. Join us for a relaxed morning amid the lush surroundings of Discovery Resorts - Emma Gorge, El Questro.

Starting with a 9:00 AM pick-up from Kununurra, you’ll be welcomed onto the lawns of Emma Gorge to enjoy a 3-hour picnic style brunch.

Choose to either picnic under the trees or set yourself up on a table nearby, the purpose is to sit and ease into the day with a mimosa, savouring your grazing box inspired by the unique flavours of the Kimberley region, complemented by sparkling wine, beer, wine, and soft drinks. With live music from 10am.

Choose from a return transfer option or enjoy the flexibility of a self-drive option for your convenience.

    Sunday 17th May A vibrant new addition to the 2026 Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster, Colours of Country is a one-night celebration of East Kimberley art, music, fashion and food in Kununurra. Set in the Festival Hub at Celebrity Tree Park, the evening brings together leading regional artists, galleries and cultural practitioners, alongside live performances from Family Shoveller Band, Kankawa Nagarra and Saltwater Kin. Featuring artworks from Artopia Gallery, Artlandish, Halls Creek Women’s Hub, Kira Kiro Artists, Lisa Campbell, Taminga Connell, Tjarrambayi Arts, Waringarri Aboriginal Arts, Warmun Art Centre, Wyndham Arts Collective Hub and Yarlyil Arts, the program also includes bush food experiences with Blak Tapas and the striking Boonkaj II Collection fashion parade. Hosted by Wyndham artist and storyteller Molly Hunt, Colours of Country offers an immersive experience that captures the creativity, culture and spirit of the East Kimberley.     A Cultural Culinary Adventure

    Wed 20th & Thurs 21st May In partnership with award-winning Blak Tapas, Waringarri Aboriginal Arts invites you to a cultural journey. Your evening begins at the Waringarri Aboriginal Arts Centre. Take a tour of the oldest art centre in WA (Gold Medal winner at the 2024 WA Tourism Awards) and engage with our local Miriwoong tour guides. From there, we journey to our on-Country location. Transport is provided from Waringarri Aboriginal Arts. Where you'll receive a traditional welcome by a Miriwoong elder, followed by traditional dancing and storytelling, and a didgeridoo performance as you watch the Kimberley sunset. Taste bush tucker.     Multiple Dates, Overnight Journey into the heart of Woolah Country and discover it through the eyes of its Traditional Owners. Your adventure begins with a self-drive to Doon Doon Station, where you’ll be welcomed with a bush-food-inspired morning tea and a warm introduction to Country. From there, relax as you’re chauffeured in comfortable 4WD vehicles across stunning landscapes to a secluded beach and freshwater waterhole, a hidden gem known only to locals. Here, you can cool off with a refreshing swim, try your luck at catching a fish, and join your guides on an easy-grade bush walk to learn about bush tucker and medicinal plants that have sustained the people of this Country for generations. While you unwind by the water, you’ll be treated to a bush-food-inspired lunch, showcasing seasonal local ingredients and traditional flavours. The adventure doesn’t end there as you will also be chauffeured to a scenic lookout to watch the sunset with complimentary canapes and drinks, surrounded by the breathtaking Kimberley landscape. As dusk settles, you’ll make your way to the campsite, where you can freshen up before gathering around the campfire for dinner and storytelling beneath the stars. When it’s time to rest, retreat to your comfortable glamping tent, designed to offer a relaxing and memorable overnight stay in the heart of Country. In the morning, wake to a light continental-style breakfast including tea and coffee, ready for you to enjoy before your 9am departure. This authentic experience blends cultural storytelling, nature, and hands-on activities, offering visitors a deeper connection to Country, traditions, and its people.
